Every dream can turn into a reality, only if you have the courage to pursue it. And, Bollywood actress, Sara Ali Khan, who has created a name for herself is living proof of it. The 23-year old star has been making headlines for her looks and her impeccable acting skills, which she demonstrated in her two back-to-back hits.
We cannot deny the fact that Sara has become an obsession for many with her charismatic charm and attitude towards life. Recently, we stumbled upon a throwback picture of Sara with her ‘abba’, Saif Ali Khan that will make your day. The picture is shared by Veena Nagda, who is a popular mehendi artist of the tinsel town.
For those who don’t know, Sara is a product of a broken home, her parents, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh parted ways when their 13-year-long marriage started falling. However, the divorce of her parents made Sara even stronger and gave her the power to acknowledge her own reality. She even expressed in one of her interviews that it was good that they parted ways. Sara said, “It is not nice to live in a home where people are not happy. They are both, happy, bindaas and cool people, but individually. Together, they are not. And I think they too realized that. Fortunately, now I have two happy and secure homes to myself instead of one.”
Saif and Amrita got separated in the year 2004, and 8 years later, Saif found love in Bollywood’s fashionista, Kareena Kapoor and they soon got married. And, Sara was happiest to see her favourite ‘Poo’ from the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum as a part of their family. In a recent interview with Famously Filmfare, Sara was quoted as saying, “People tell me because you were such a die-hard Kareena Kapoor fan you willed her into your life.”
Earlier, in an interview with DNA, Sara revealed her mom, Amrita Singh’s reaction to her film. She said, “Mom had heard the narration and she had also seen some rushes. But she still cried in the climax, so that was a big one for me.” In another interview with SpotboyE.com, Sara talked about her weight loss journey and said, “I was 96 kg at the time when I told my mother, sitting on the bed crying and saying, ‘Mom, all I want to do is become an actor.’ Then, she said that you need to lose weight. And, it took me about a year-and-half to lose that weight. So, I completed the remaining two years of my graduation in a year so that I can return and start working early.”
